Where will we stay? We have several options for you.
- Due to the wonderful response of volunteers, we are now housing teams in 7 area churches. Please note that each church is offers options. The goal of the Flood office is to find the right fit for your team. Please don't let the cost keep you from coming, we have several options for you team. We have something for you.
- First UMC in Marion is equipped with cots and showers are at the Middle School 2 blocks away. Soon, the shower trailer will be available at Living Water UMC. FUMC has dedicated 3 rooms for volunteer housing.
- $20 per person per night (Room and Meals). Breakfast is at 7:30 am, Sack Lunch is made at Breakfast, and Supper is at 6:00 pm.
- $10 per person per night - for lodging only.
- Living Water UMC, Saint Paul UMC, Lovely Lane UMC, Springville UMC, Center Point UMC, Wapallo UMC, and First Presbyterian are all hosting volunteers. These facilities offer rooms, but ask you bring your own air mattress. Showers are also at local schools. Some churches offer meals and some give you space in their kitchen. Charges are site based.
What do we wear?
Closed toed hard soled shoes
Long pants Long T-Shirts (to protect your skin)
N-95 Dust Masks Latex Gloves Work Gloves
Bring Trash Bags to travel in the car – so shoes and bottoms don’t touch the fabric.

Each team will participate in an orientation upon arriving containing safety concerns, sensitivity training, and facility locations.
Wednesday Night at 7:45 is a vesper service
Youth Groups can play with area youth groups if desired. |
Youth Groups are required to have a 1 adult to 5 student ratio.
