FUMC Mission’s history has been to help several organizations and individuals without a central theme or yearly focus.  We desire to streamline those efforts in 2006.

Health Kits

Place these items inside a sealed one-gallon plastic bag.

  • 1 hand towel (15" x 25" up to 17" x 27", No kitchen towels)

  • 1 washcloth

  • 1 comb (large and sturdy, not pocket-sized)

  • 1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers)

  • 1 bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. and up)

  • 1 toothbrush (single brushes only in original wrapper, No child-size brushes)

  • 6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages

  • $1.00 to purchase toothpaste
    (NOTE: UMCOR Sager Brown is now purchasing toothpaste in bulk to be added to health kits before shipping to ensure that the product does not expire before they are sent.)

School Kits

Give now to help purchase supplies.

  • 1 pair blunt scissors (rounded tip)

  • 3 notebooks (70 pages each are great), approx.
    8 1/2 x 11 WIDE RULED, (210-250 sheets total) spiral or bound.
  • 1 30-centimeter ruler

  • 1 hand held pencil sharpener

  • 6 unsharpened pencils with erasers

  • 1 eraser, 2 1/2"

  • 1 box of 24 crayons (only 24)

 

Phun Philanthropic Phebruary

You can help by donating the following products each Sunday:

·           February 3 = Cans of SOUP (Please help Pastor Melisa receive a victory. She has never won this “challenge of the pastors”!)  Wear your favorite team shirt – school, sports, camp, church, any special interest or ministry group.

 

·            February 10 =  “P Basics” 
Supplies for Pictured Rocks
Computer paper, bulk toilet paper, Play Ball (kickballs, basketballs, volleyballs)

 

·           February 17   = Personal Hygiene (not for Ingathering Health Kits)

                  Deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc

 

·          February 24 = Flip Flops, Sizes for children and adult
